About Me

Hi, I am a B.Sc. student in Computer Science and Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I am expected to graduate in June 2027.

My research interests include Multi-modal Learning, Computer vision, and Embodied AI. Currently, I am now doing undergrad research intern VILAB at EPFL with Prof. Amir Zamir. Previously, I was a UG Research Assistant at HKUST Smart Lab, supervised by Prof. Hao Chen.

I completed my summer session at Stanford University in 2025, taking courses in Machine Learning (CS229) and Design and Analysis of Algorithms (CS161).

Pathology Report Generation via Multi-modal Learning
Research Assistant, HKUST Smart Lab | Sep. 2025 -- Present
Supervised by Prof. Hao Chen
Proposed a novel multi-modal framework to automatically generate pathology reports from Whole Slide Images (WSI). Developing a two-stage training pipeline for pathology report generation, leveraging a highly structured, high-quality dataset to enhance generation accuracy.
Cancer Diagnosis and Prognosis with Whole Slide Images
Undergraduate Researcher, HKUST Smart Lab | Sep. 2024 -- Sep. 2025
Supervised by Prof. Hao Chen (UROP)
Conducted a comprehensive survey on deep learning methods for cancer diagnosis. Implemented and evaluated deep learning baselines, including MotCAT and MACT, to analyze performance gaps in cancer subtype classification.

Developed automated Python scripts for large-scale web data collection. Preprocessed unstructured data to support the unsupervised training of Large Language Models (LLMs).
